Creepiest Forests in Transilvania
Many scary stories have been heard about Transilvania especialy about vampires and Dracula whose roots have been in the heart of Transilvania in every possible version of the story. Are those real or inspired from real stories, we do not know for sure but what I know for sure is that in Transilvania the northern part of Romania, a specific forest is consideret to be one of the creepiest forests in Europe.
The Hoia Baciu Forest is the inspiration for many people’s horror stories and dreams. See it with your eyes and only the pictures will play with your mind.
Many stories have been created around this forest, with most of them beeing unreal, but on think that has been proven by scientists to be real is that in the Hoia Baciu Forest is that burns and headaches happen to most of those who visit the forest and that is because of some radioactive emissions, magnetic anomalies, microwave emission and infrared emission all measured by instruments and found in the abnormal limits.
More than that, in the middle of it, a magnetic field of about half a kilometer wide, it shows little life signals, and not much vagetation is able to grow there and all over the forest the trees are having a strage way of growing in different twisted shapes, like they would be overdone by the extreme atmosphere conditions.
If you find scary places interesting to visist, than this is the place that you must see but you should now that while many stories are not real about this place, the fact that many people died by hanging themselves in this forest are real. To me it makes much sense as the depresiona and anxiaty is much more accelerated in this place than in many other places.
I'm trying to remember the name of this forest for some time so thank you. I've been recently in that part of the country and I hoped we'll get a glance on it also but we had no time (neither a great passion for this type of experiences in the group)
Spooky! Ya, I watched a couple different documentaries on Dracula, the real guy behind the name anyhow. He's was one ruthless guy for sure! Very interesting article!
For sure in every story there is a drop of true. In this forest are some real anomalies. As well in the Dracula story is a small content of true for inspiration

Talking about Vlad the Impaler. I believe at the actual situation in Romania, we would desperately need a new Vlad the Impaler in the politics scene of our country. Do you agree?
Mmmm.. times have changed I don't think violence is the proper answer to the current situation. Let's say someone with the same determination as Vlad The Impaler. We're not living in the world of Game Of Thrones anymore :D

I have a friend in Cluj who organizes guided tours in this forest :) really cool place, some unusual stuff is definitely happening in the forest.
There is no student in Cluj who hasn't heard at least a story about this forest. But, it did gain popularity rightly because of its proven paranormal activity.
