Who is Peavey

Today I would like to share an American brand named Peavey Electronics. Peavey was founded by Hartley Peavey in the year of 1965 and he is one of the largest audio equipments and musical instruments manufacturer in world and is one of the world’s largest supplier since 1965. And today his name and reputation is recognized by most of the musicians worldwide.

About Guitar Amplifier Series

I believe most of the guitarist knows about the old and vintage Bandit Model Guitar Amplifier. This model was introduced during 80s and continue reproducing until late 2013. This series are popular because they built with their technology called TransTube circuitry, means is a solid-state technology but sounds just like tube amps!
Transtube Series is a category of Bandit series guitar amplifiers.
Beside Bandit Series, they also have many other Series like Classic, ValveKing, Vypyr, Windsor, TNT for the bass, and some models are designed for recording artist such as JSX Series for Joe Satriani, Triple XXX or 3120 Series for George Lynch, & 5150 Series for Eddie Van Halen.

Built-in Effects

By pressing to switch at DIGITAL EFX, you can choose any of 7 types of effects that you required. Beside selecting the effects, you may also adjust their EFX ADJUST (EFX ADJ PARAMETERS). Every effect comes in different parameters adjustment.
~ Tremolo - Rate increase
~ Flanger - Rate increase
~ Phaser - Rate increase
~ Chorus - Rate increase/depth decrease
~ Funk Wah - Sensitivity increase
~ Octaver - Wet/Dry mix
~ Rotary Spkr - Rate increase

Beside Built-in Effects, there are another two adjustments. They are REVERB and DELAY. DELAY come with another 3 types of effects - SLAP, ECHO & INFINITE.

INPUTS!

There are two inputs (High Gain & Low Gain) for your instruments.
High Gain - Is suitable for most of the standard electric guitars and come with extra adjustment by the PRE GAIN control at the LEAD channel.
Low Gain - Is designed for the EXTREMELY HIGH OUTPUT instruments. The designed is been fixed at -6dB but if both inputs are using simultaneously, both channels will be at the same in LOW GAIN!

CLEAN CHANNEL
At this channel, you can switch the voicing either MODERN or VINTAGE.
LEAD CHANEL
The gain and voicing for this channel are much more crunchy and hard rock or metal. From MODERN (cuts mid freq for more like rock tone) to VINTAGE (classic tube amp tone) and HIGH GAIN (increases gain and best for soloing).

BACK PANEL

There are a 8-pin DIN connector that is to connect with the footswitch provided.
External Speaker is to connect an external speakers and the requirement is minimum 8-ohm!
Power Amp In is to allow to connect directly to the power amplifier.
Preamp Out is the same features like DI Box. Connect from here to mixing consoles.
The Effect Loop allows you to fix your own effects pedal boards or processors and comes with the signal gain adjustment.

Footswitch

This 4 switch Footswitch operates most of the presets from the amps. The single Mode and 3 Presets Mode are convenient whenever you play or performing on stage.
