A Lesson in Sharing

My secondary laptop died. Now, my kids have been using my primary one to play their games.

It's been a while since I've had to share my computer with them. I haven't since I bought myself a new one and let them have the old. However, for a week now we've been back to sharing. Aha! A great time for working on sharing and taking turns.

As much as I see it as a lesson for them, in reality I'm getting a lesson as well. When I go to sit down and use my computer and I see things, such as Superman heroically looking at me from the keyboard, I'm reminded to not take things so seriously. I learn as much from them everyday as they do from me.

It's the little things and the silly shenanigans that matter, that make you forget the stress and take that moment to enjoy the blessing of being a parent.
