Meet Dusty at FULL THROTTLE

Meet Dusty, my Lucky charm :-)
My son asked me to bring him with me, so cute hey??? ;)
I don't bring him on every flight but on every special or stupid mission he is with me.
Like on this trip, a shore to shore crossing, 60 nautical miles, 3500 feet above water at 6 Celsius degree that's about 42-44 Fahrenheit on a single piston engine. Yeah that is not special, it's stupid. If engine would died I had about 4 miles to glide and we would be dead freezing in water in not even 5 minutes. Legally we had our floatation device around our neck and we were both accepting the risk. Believe me I was spotting oil tanker and boat all the way to ditch close in case of an emergency.
As we cross the point of no return not long after take off, I open up the cabin air vent and Dusty's propeller started to spin super fast. It make us laught and the crossing as been less stressful!!!
Never had one before or believe really in it but since, i find that having a Lucky charm that really mean simething, is worth it

Just kidding ofcourse, I dont wish harm upon you, but only safe flights :)
As of now, I have the same amount of take off that I got landing. I try to keep it that way 😉

Quebec / Canada i had to cross St-Laurent river wich get pretty close to the Gulf at that place
Very nice! I have a friend from Australia over there now doing modelling work. I'd share a picture but I'm sure she wouldn't want me posting it on steemit. She was in a special K ad, big frizzy hair you can't miss her haha.
