Blogging as a Graphic Designer

I've considered creating a weekly blog for some time now, focusing on my main interests which lie in Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Filmography. Up until this point I've never had a clear idea of what I wanted to talk about on a weekly basis and I wanted a solid theme for my blog posts that were consistent and good quality to read. I also didn't know what platform would be best to post blogs, as there are so many different blogging websites I could choose from; all having there pros and cons! However, a Vlogger on Youtube who goes by the channel name 'SlayerKM', spoke about how great Steemit was for creative individuals and how good it is as, providing a new unique platform for creative individuals. So here I am writing my first ever blog post on this platform, Steemit.

So as I said in the beginning, I will be focusing on my main interests which heavily focus on creative design subjects; Graphics and Photography.

So a bit about me. I currently study Graphic Design at University (I just finished my first year). As I'm always learning new skills and techniques and always working with a diverse range of people and clients I thought it would beneficial for me and others to write about what I've learnt and the experiences I've had as a young designer. I also think it would be a good idea to include blogs about university in case any of you reading this are students, or even considering of going to University to study a certain subject.

Personally, I think it's important for people to share views, experiences and skills to better ourselves and each other; this is why I'm creating this blog, hoping it will benefit someone like you as a creative individual. My aim it to post regular weekly blogs, with consistent content that is an enjoyable read. If anyone has any suggestions about future topics we can talk about them let me know.
