School Vegetable Garden Project/Gulayan sa Paaralan

Greetings to all steemians! Today allow me to share to you the on going activity in our school despite facing the new normal of education. Everyone is very busy since we are developing our "gulayan sa paaralan". Gulayan sa paaralan is an initiative of DepEd to make the school supportive in terms of being self sufficient in vegetables, poultry, fish and others.

The picture above shows the on going construction of our bahay kubo or typically known as the nipa house. We will be using this nipa house as our outpost in terms of monitoring the development and supplementing the needed materials like organic fertilizers, fish foods and others. Please do watch out as we finish our nipa house.

I'm not really good in carpentry but for the spirit of bayanihan/cooperation, a little help will do. I'm in charge of cleaning the bamboos which will be use as our floor and walls for our nipa house.

Today, is another busy day for us steemians. We keep on believing "para sa bata". Sulong edukalidad for a strong and quality education! Please do watch out for the updates as we finish our gulayan sa paaralan project.
