Introduction

Hello everyone and a splendid day to you. You're welcome to my post at the moment.I hope your day was good?. Here's a sum up of my day went.

Morning

For me,Today is the first cumpulsory sit at home day,and it wasn't really fun,partly because there was no light and nothing much to do. Nonetheless I woke up by 4am,said my prayers and went back to sleep by 5:30am.

The sound of my little baby ruffling my sleev woke me up permanently as she wanted to go feed the chickens and wanted me to accompany her....(why me?🙄🙄😔). After feeding the chickens I came back into the house,and continued writing a post I had started yesterday night. The voice of my mum shouting and asking if we were still sleeping got me up permanently.

I then started making breakfast of white rice and stew for the family. When I finished I continued writing my post when I heard my mum call me from the backyard. I went to see why she called,only to see an enormous community of yams buried underneath the ground.
According to her,she had planted a yam head six months ago and here was the harvest. She needed me to help her dig around the earth so we could bring the yams out. I set to work.

Looking at the harvest of yams from just one scraggly looking yam head,I remembered the words of Jesus in John 12:24-25 that say clearly

еxcept a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone, but if it die, it brings much fruit.

This scripture honestly can be used to talk about anything or anyone. The harvest was sooo massive I couldn't believe my eyes. I set about removing sand from the yams before taking them inside. The plan was to wash them first,but there was no water. Oh well,yams for sale everyone. 5k per head,no pricing😁.

Afternoon

By the time I was done with the yams,it was already after 12pm. My little baby demanded I do a spelling contest for her so we started,I would call words and she would write them down. She actually scored 9/11. I would have shown you but can't find the book right now. Nevermind I'll show you a drawing she made of me. I just had to accept i was the one because she was there(but I'm still rejecting it🤣).

After a while she slept off,so did everyone in the house. I used this opportunity to continue my post uninterrupted and do a few other things till she woke up by 3pm. Afterwards i had my lunch of rice,beans,plantain and stew(🙈🙈 leave me alone.🤣).

I'm sorry 🙈🤣,the hunger was real.

Having eaten,I had the strength to tackle anything.🙈🙄. I then took a nap for a few minutes.

Evening

I was supposed to go to church by 5pm to prayers but couldn't as my little baby became ill,I had to tend to her. Thankfully she's better.

Around 7pm the nepa decided to give us light so we went to the parlour to see a movie. Well I more or less escorted them,because I wasn't even looking at the tv.

I've had dinner and it's time to say my goodbyes. Hopefully tomorrow won't be another sit at home because what I'm hearing us rancous. Till then Sha.
