Attending a Matriculation Ceremony|| Diary Game 5th September 2024
Dear Diary, today has been eventful. From waking up thinking I'll have a quiet indoors day to gracing the matriculation event of a nearby university.
I had been in the house all day after my prayers, working up till 1pm when brunch was served. As I sat down to eat, I got a call from my colleague that we were expected to grace a Matriculation Ceremony and he was already en route.
What was I going to do now as a hot plate of jellof rice was sitting pretty in from of me.
There was nothing to do except eat my food so I put the cooling fan at the highest and set about eating.
Finally I arrived the venue for the Matriculation some minutes past 3pm. From the gate one would know an event was happening as cars and people filled every available space.
I made my way to our meeting point where my colleague had been waiting for me. After a while the students started coming and when we were a reasonable number we spoke to them, prayed for them and took pictures

Long after they were gone, I stayed in school having a very interesting and eye opening conversation with my colleague.
Before you know it, the clock was hitting 7pm. I hurriedly said my goodbyes as I had an online training session scheduled for 8pm and I didn't want to arrive late.
My 8pm meeting kicked off by 8:18 and lasted till 9:15pm where I had another meeting which carried on till 10pm. I hurriedly went in search of some snacks to chew as my day was far from over.
