Weekly Country Representative/ Greeter's Report (For The Week Ending 13th September,2022)

Dear team,

I hereby present my report for the week that just ended as indicated at the title section above.

This past week, I carried out my duties as a country representative for Nigeria, remaining active with my account, carrying out my duties as a greeter in newcommers community achievement program, reviewing publications in both steemkids community and Steem4Nigeria community. I hereby present the report in detail below,

Remaining Active With My Personal Account

🌼 Upvoting and supporting users especially Nigerians with my personal account has always been my foremost concern and this I did this past week. I made 170 upvotes on 119 accounts, and my voting CSI is currently at 15.5%.

🌼 Taking part in the engagement challenge and supporting burnsteem project on 2 publications I made within the week.

🌼 Encouraging and supporting users by answering the questions on their mind in my private chats and mails. Next, I made a Publication to address some of the questions I was asked within the week in this post

My Duties As A Greeter/Curator with 03 In Newcomers community Achievement program

As a greeter in newcommers community, I am saddled with the responsibilities of reviewing achievement posts and if anyone is successful and deserves to be upvoted with SC03, I will do that.

In course of this, I was able to discover one multiple account by clicking the username of the user that introduced the said newbie(ukprudent14(new) and ukprudent(old)). This helped me to see that it was the same person as I went through all his publications. Further enquires revealed that he could not login to his old account and then just decided to create a new one. After which the old one opened. Well, I then advised him to continue with his old account and after I asked our leader, inspiration on the label to give, she asked me to give "multiple account" as label which was what I did.

That's why it is very important that as a greeter, I check the blog of both the user and the one that referred him or her. Our work is more like an investigation and I am glad to take part in it.

I reviewed 4 introduction posts, 4 achievement 3 posts, 1 achievement 4 post. I gave a catch up vote on one account that passed it's voting window on the users active post and left comments on both posts to notify the user.

Apart from being a greeter, I also Curated with SC03 on successful achievement posts. This past week, I curated 11 publications.

For the coming week, I will endeavor to employ more caution in reviewing achievement posts as there is likely to be those creeping in with a different username after powering down. I will be on alert.

Carrying Out My Duties In Steemkids And Steem4Nigeria communities

👉 In steemkids community, I take my turns to review publications. I was able to review 14 publications and dropped the links at the comment section of our MODs exclusive post.

I also used the official account of steemkids community to support members through upvotes and for the past 7 days, I made 162 upvotes on 95 accounts and the voting CSI is 13.3%. I sometimes upvote outside the community when there is no more publications to upvote and the voting manner is still above 85% to avoid wastages.

I hosted our current contests in continuation of our contest series here. I also made other updates in the community to keep it active.

👉 As for Steem4Nigeria community, I took my turns to select publications for booming support and to publish the post for the day.

I also was involved in reviewing publications there.

Plans/Conclusion

✨ To organize a meetup in my city of residence and connect with others that are not in my city via zoom. I will collaborate with my fellow CRs to know the day it will be before my next report. This will help to encourage the remaining Nigerians to keep active.

✨ To keep active and support users from my country as much as I can.

✨ To promote steem through my new business that I just started which I will soon publish about.

✨ Keep up with my duties in the various communities I am involved in.

On the overall, I am glad that there is still hope for us as Nigerians because challenges only make us stronger. I will keep active and doing my best to promote steem in my country.

I bow my head in shame but I and the rest of us will continue to move ahead.
