Thediarygame for 16/06/2023 (My Day In Words and Pictures): Visited Pivote Farm After My morning workout

A day is a different page in our lives as it presents a different story entirely. Sometimes our activities are planned and they follow the plan and sometimes they just present themselves without advance planning and you can't avoid them.

I experienced this type of unplanned activities on the day under consideration. I surely planned to workout but didn't plan to tour a farm the way I did. Just follow along and understand why it was so.

My workout Activities

It was a rain free morning unlike other days when we had rain each morning. This year's rainy season is something else. Some people say that where we are staying now experience rain more than other places and I have come to agree with that. This is because on Thursday, I had planned to go out for workout, at least to take a new friend that I have to my place of workout as she had expressed interest in joining me. She called me as early as 6am to remind me of it. I did my morning chores quickly so that I can go out to meet her. But before I could finish, rain started. It was heavy that I couldn't go out again. I called my coach to find out if the rain was serious there, but he said it wasn't. That was how I missed Thursday workout. We then shifted it to Friday.

This Friday, the lady told me that she will not be around. So I got ready and went on my own as usual. Thank goodness it didn't rain that morning. It was Friday of stretching. I went late anyways and as such I couldn't meet the general aerobic class. But I met the stretch class and joined. My pictures are here below

I had gone with my yoga mat as announced and that is what I am seating on to do the stretching. It was amazing! I really enjoyed it. Our coach himself was the one that took us on this program unlike other Fridays.

There at the workout location, a lady and Friend told me that one of my neighbors that I usually join in her vehicle to out said I should bring her to her house. She doesn't know the location. I had to take her there.

At Pivote Farm

This neighbor owns a big farm for cat fish rearing. According to her, they are one of the biggest farms here in my city of residence. She showed us around and below are the pictures I took while moving around

	she had asked one of there workers to pick some fishes for their use and that is what he is doing in the picture
	you can see myself, the one at the middle is the owner of the farm and the last lady is the one I took to the place.

They also have lots of fruit trees. The last time I went there, she gave me bitter leaf stem to plant in my compound. Those stems are already germinating.

The guava was ripped and they were tired of eating them. So they were just wasting and we asked that they give us some. She called on one of her workers to help us pluck some. See the pictures below

She also told me that recently, the price of fish feed is very high that most times they run at a loss as a result. And because of that, they want to establish a sachet water factory. She showed us around to see the building. NAFDAC (Natural Agency for Food and Drug administration commission) had given them the specifications of the building that will be used for it. They had went for inspection. They are now waiting for final approval. Every other thing is ready to start the factory. She even asked if I can work for them there.

I asked about the name of the water and she said that it will retain the name of the farm which is Pivot table water. That sounds good as it is a well known name. I am eagerly looking forward to it's grand opening while still thinking if I can be able to work there .

When we came out, she gave us bitter leaf soup and swallow. Mine is here below

I spent most of my day there before going back home to do some laundry and some other house chores. It was amazing! That day was just bright. Rain gave us a space. At night, we harvested some corn from the farm, roasted and ate and finally went to bed.

The pictures of my workout were taken by a friend there and sent to our workout group where I took them and resized. The one in the farm was taken at my friend's residence close to my house at Gitto Road. My friend gave me her phone to take the pictures and she later sent them through WhatsApp where I got them.
