SEC-S16-W5 | Natural spaces
The earth is a place of great beauty when viewed from the outer space especially from the angle that has its natural designs. I love nature and I love it when it is still green. The maker and the designer of this earth must be very intelligent from how he designed the earth such that we are attracted to it.
He designed it in such a way that there is a form of synergy between nature and humans. All of them work together to ensure the earth is kept clean.
We see the beauty of nature when we find our self in a garden that is devoid of any foreign objects. We enjoy the fresh breeze and clean air. We also enjoy the quiet and cool ambience of such places.
In Nigeria, we have such wonderful places, let me take you on a journey to three of those places. And humans who love nature are doing their best to still keep them in an attractive way and these has become an attraction for tourists. They are in form or parks and resorts.
The CrossRiver National Park
This is one of the most beautiful and rich places we have not just in Nigeria but in West Africa as a continent. It is situated in the tropical rain forest which falls in Cross River State.
This beautiful place is divided into two sections:-
The Obama section of it which was established in 1988 and the Okwangwo established in 1991.
It is well known for it's unique gorilla species. It is a safe place for tourists. The tourists are always welcomed and treated in a very hospitable way. Some of the attractions that endears people to that area are
° Kwa falls
° Kwa river
° Agbokim falls
° Many animal species of which the gorilla is one of them.

Finima Nature Park
This is nother natural park in Nigeria that is rich in animal and plat diversity. It is located in Bonny Island, Island surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. It covers an area of about 1000 hectares.
It is one of the best places to keep in touch with nature. It is a place you can have a great time with your wife and family members. There are several things a tourist can enjoy seeing here.
The ability to see animals in there natural habitat, explore natures flora, enjoy the lovely canoe ride, a great place to organize picnics and get togethers with loved ones and take memorable pictures with them.
Obudu ranch
This is another beautiful park very very close to nature. This is located in the top of a mountain that is 1600m from the ground.
There are 3 major means of getting to the top of the mountain, either by driving from the foot of the mountain to the top or through a motor cable. The third means is by using a helicopter which takes you straight to the ranch.
That place is beauty in itself. Sometimes, at certain times of the year, you can even feel like your touching the sky, experience snowfalls just like western countries, enjoy beautiful fauna and flora unique to the mountains alone.
You also have great view of the obudu waterfalls, mountain ranges and their peaks, in fact, it is an awesome experience to be there.

Have I visited any of these places?
It is sad to say that I haven't visited any of these places I mentioned. The truth is that, due to the economic pressures of life, it's not been easy to arrange to be in those places. But I have had the opportunity to discuss with those who have visited them and their stories are such to be reckoned with.
They described the places to me as though I had been there. I will surely plan to be there soon. I am planning towards that already. I can't wait!
Conclusion
There are many lovely and beautiful natural parks in Nigeria. But these ones I mentioned are the ones that are first for visiting in my plans. I am looking forward to having a lovely vacation with my family there. It's going to be awesome!

The natural serene of the Obudu ranch is breath taking ascending the ranch through the cable cars is really something everyone would love to do. It is worth it, seeing the clouds so close to you as you get to the top during the early hours of the morning shared awhile lot about the ranch. The water falls is really a greater beauty. You describe very interesting places in your country, I am sorry you could not visit them, the parks and nature reserves are charming places full of mystery, which will always be an enigma for those of us who visit them.
