Breast Milk is widely known as a drink that is needed by the baby in order to grow to the maximum. Breast milk has a much higher nutritional value than any kind of milk that makes a lot of people curious what happens if adults consume this nutritious beverage?

Health experts say that there are some main content of breast milk that we can find as follows.

Protein
Protein in breast milk in the form of whey and casein is much higher than that in formula milk so it can support the development of the baby.

Fat
Breast milk is also rich in healthy fat content that can support brain development, absorption of soluble vitamins, and sources of calories.

Vitamin
Breast milk is rich in vitamins and minerals that are very important for the development and immune system of babies such as vitamins A, B, C, and E. Not only that, breast milk is also rich in folic acid that can support the baby's brain development.

Carbohydrate
Lactose is the main source of carbohydrates in breast milk. These nutrients can reduce the number of bad bacteria in the stomach while supporting the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Immunoglobin
Immunoglobin content in breast milk is able to form permanent antibodies in the baby's body that will fight against infection during its age. For this reason breast milk is highly recommended in infants up to at least 6 months old.

Prevent cancer
ASI has human alpha-lactalbumin content made to lethal to tumor cells or HAMLET that can kill cancer cells. In the Journal of Cancer, mentioned that this HAMLET content can protect the mother from the coming of cervical cancer and ovarian cancer.
Seeing the existence of various nutritious nutrients, health experts say that breast milk actually will not adversely affect the health of the adult body.

However, until now, there is no solid evidence that adults who drink breast milk will also have a positive effect on their health. For this reason breast milk does not need to be taken by adults.
