"Pillars of a Successful Home: Love, Patience, and Trust."

Hello and greetings to everyone, my name is @newtonb and hope you all are doing absolutely great by God's grace. So I am writing this post to take part in an interesting contest organized by @chant in the steem Cameroon community. Please follow me and read along as i take you through my post. Thank you.

Introduction.

A home first of all can be defined as a place or a dwelling where one lives permanently especially as being a member of a family. A home usually includes persons such as, the father , the mother and the children. It's usually a place where you feel welcomed and feel the warmth of everyone's presence.

A home is the foundation of every successful society. The social status or condition of the society greatly depends on the homes that make it up.

For a home to flourish successfully, there are various fruits that must be present. Some of these fruits include love, patience and trust. Without which the home will be a total chaos.

What is your understanding of a successful Home?

To me, a successful home is any home that has the presence of love, peace and understanding.
It is important to note that a successful home doesn't just happen over night but it is built with time. Because It takes two imperfect people to start up a home (the man and the woman). So a lot of things need to be put together to make sure that the love always keeps growing. For a home to be termed successful the following points should be looked upon

A successful home should be a place where one can be protected or find security.
A successful home should be a place where one is garanteed of privacy. You should be able to communicate to members of your home and confide in them without the fear of betrayal.
A successful home should be a place where one can find happiness and great laughter more than anywhere else.
Most importantly is successful home should be one where God is at the center of everything that is done. When the fear of God is seen as an example from the chief builders of the home which is the parents, then the followers will also copy the right steps.

The following are a number of things you can do to create a happy and successful home;

Create special moments with the family, for example , outings, visits, travels, shopping
Express affection: Hug more, Show interest in one another, Appreciate one another
Create a friendly and safe environment for everyone: Acknowledge one another and Communicate openly.

Do you agree that a good society is determined by the number of successful Homes built?

Yes I firmly agree that a good society is determined by the number of successful homes built. My reasons being that, families and homes and the basic units of the society. They are the basic units that make up a society. Therefore if the majority of homes are successful then that will lead to good a society.

Apart from the three pillars above, state and explain some other pillars you believe can contribute to a successful Home.

Okay apart from the pillars mentioned above , some other pillars that can contribute to a successful home are. Peace, gentleness, kindness, goodness, forgiveness.

Peace : Poverty Is the absence of peace. But peace doesn't necessarily mean the presence of riches and great wealth. Peace is being happy and satisfied with one another and with what one has. Being contented in the home you find yourself in. Not blaming people for where you are.
gentleness: this is a great virtue that can make up a successful home. When the children in a home a trained to be gentle , the society will be free from bad characters and poorly behaved people.
kindness:if the members of a home are kind to each other, then it will minimize jealousy and envy amongst them.
goodness: when you show goodness to people they will return it back to you. Goodness is a great virtue that can make up a successful family. providing the needs of the home is an act of goodness that should be practiced.
forgiveness: this is very important because we all know that as long as we are humans living in the same environment there is bound to be misunderstandings from time to time but when the spirit of forgiveness is present in the family then there will always be peace no matter what.

What are the impacts of a broken home on society?

Some of The impacts of a broken home in a society are as follows

anxiety and stress: Anxiety and stress can lead to some of those impacts of a broken home. Because there is no security and assurance of peace
confusion: when the home is broken there is confusion because there is no vision to guide the smooth running of the home or the oneness of the home.
Low self esteem: Because of a broken home there can be a development of low self-esteem because of shame and disgracee.
High Crime Wave: Because the home is broken, most children may not have the privilege to go the school therefore they will only turn to other illegal sources of lifelyhood
Such as theft, prostitution , drugs and many others.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, a successful home is something that members of the family should take part in building so that we can have more peaceful and productive communities.
