Baked fish with broccoli
The fish is baked under a white cheese sauce. I like that there are no
exotic ingredients in the sauce. Everything is usually in the kitchen.
It turns out a very tasty dish.
500 g of fish (cod, hake, pollock)
500 g fresh or frozen broccoli
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup of milk
1 cup of broth or water
1 glass of grated cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
a pinch of black or white pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs (optional)
1/3 cup grated hard cheese
1 tbsp. melted butter
Boil the broccoli. It is important not to digest, broccoli should keep
green. Drain the water and put into a baking dishPut the fish on top. Sprinkle all with lemon juice.
Prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, dissolve the
flour in it. Stirring constantly, pour in carefully the milk and
broth, add salt and pepper. Continuing to stir, add cheese to the
sauce and stir until it is completely dissolved. Quickly remove from
heat and pour sauce over broccoli and fish.
Stir 1 tablespoon. melted butter, bread crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle
everything with this mixture. Bake at 180 ° C for 20-25 minutes.
