For the past few years, News2Share has brought its audience to the frontlines of various activism, protest, and civil unrest situations. With Facebook and Youtube's suppression of indie voices like News2Share's, we thought it'd be fitting to have our first archival story posted onto dtube be our documentary from the ground in Charlottesville.

See the tragic, violent events of August 11th through 13th, 2017 in Charlottesville through the lens of News2Share. Filmed by Ford Fischer (with additional footage by Alejandro Alvarez), this documentary takes you into the center of the fighting featuring exclusive interviews with all sides of the chaos surrounding “Unite the Right.” Viewer discretion is strongly advised for violence and racist/vulgar language.
