Week 36: #introduceyourself Curation Post

After being on vacation last week, it was tough to come back to the reality of the grind of work and the many things going on. While we had the positive market to motivate us, it has continued to be a rough time curating the #introduceyourself tag these days as the amount of new users presenting themselves has slowed down. However, a number of interesting users have really come up and have brought new perspectives to the community and the ecosystem. I think that a few quality users that focus on adding value to the community is more valuable that many new users not engaging.

I am still searching for some adjustments to how I can find a balance given everything going on in my life. The crazy part is that there are many positive things going on but I am finding myself having issues on how to prioritize them. I have realized how much I enjoy my time engaging here which I value very much. Value much more than the rewards I earn. I have been reflecting on how I could help more community members realize the same opportunity. If this becomes more realizable, I think that we will find more genuine relationships and networking to help us grow as individuals and as a community. I have not found it yet but hope that the coming bull market will help!

@ban2ban is a Russian Software Engineer living in Montreal after completing his Graduate Program. He recently started to learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency which led him around Reddit which then channeled him to Steemit and the Steem blockchain! He also presented his other hobbies like photography, hiking and fixing broken equipment to the community. While he still is searching the best way to engage here, he looks forward to sharing interesting content with the community.

@awmobbs introduced himself to the community after finally joining the ecosystem despite being involved with blockchain for some time. He lives an artistic and open life as his passions include painting, writing, and traveling in addition to the technology that continues to evolve. He enjoys programming as well as blockchain technology which finally brought him here to experience the community. He expects to document and share his journey here with the community.

@ph1102 just made his introduction to the community as he has joined the @steemsavvy community which has been doing a great job at onboarding new members into ecosystem. After switching from an offline computer business to an online business, he started to test the crypto waters with some mining of bitcoin and Ether at some great prices. Now he is holding and has come into the Steem community with some hopes of exploring his ventures in cryptocurrency and some social experiences that could include some photography!

@cacheverse is a new project that was introduced by Steemit Inc as they have made the jump from the Ethereum blockchain to Steem as the benefits of our ecosystem outweigh the development opportunities of Ethereum. They have also been impressed on the ability of the protocol to manage the coding of the game the are building. Lastly, they have been looking forward to showing their work to the community which has proven to be among the most active in blockchain ecosystems in general.

@doxie-tx is the Head of Operations at Steemit, Inc. and has been a part of the restructuring process they initiated last year which ended with some difficult decisions. However, they recently announced a new phase in their development and organization to take Steem to the next level! I was pleasantly surprised to see her introduce herself formally to the community! I was able to relate with her as she has shied away from putting herself out there in the past like myself. Having another person from Steemit Inc will be great to keep up with their initiatives in this new phase!

I hope this to be an evolving process to the benefit of the community so please continue providing feedback to support these and all the new users coming to the platform. I am looking forward to more new users coming and engaging with the community to solidify the social aspect of the #STEEM blockchain.
