Friends, today I am going to share with you some information about how hackers are trying to hack Opensea account, in the form of screenshots. Hope it will be useful for you.
First I shared an NFT on Twitter, and immediately got a replay from a Twitter account. And read the replay sample here๐
She asks me to sms him, when I sms him she gives me a screenshot of my 24 NFTs he wants to buy and he wants to make an offer.
Then I give him permission to offer but that is from opensea account. Then he offers one ETH for 24 nft.
Then I say ok I agree. Then she sms me immediately she is having problem showing error, due to which she is not able to offer. And he gives me a hacker link. The hacker gave me a link where clicking on it will hack my Opensea account.
But I carefully told him to try again after a while without clicking anything. Then while he was taking the time I asked him to give me a screenshot of the error message that was showing while making the offer. He then went on to show his various arguments, which you can see in the screenshot๐
Then he requests me and he can't offer. If I go to the link he provided to submit a report, then he can offer. I then showed him screenshots of how to offer in Opensea and gave him a small insult that he was not an Opensea user expert. Although it was written to insult him.
Then he was about to write something mind-blowing again. Then I blocked him with a few words without giving him any more time.
Guys, the only reason I'm sharing these screenshots with you is that this might happen to you. Don't click on the link provided by hackers by mistake and don't sell NFT through any other means than Opensea. Doing so will do more harm than good.
I would like to thank our respected moderator brother Sagar for giving me step by step guidelines and because of that I was able to defeat this hacker. Lots of respect and love dear brother @sagor1233

This was indeed a helpful awareness post. Scammers are everywhere now. Hard to distinguish. But if we are aware & careful, then we would be able to tackle this sort of situations successfully
