What is Payday 2?

PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers wear the masks of the original PAYDAY crew - Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains - as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree.

The new CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts, and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic PAYDAY. While in DC, why not participate in the local community, and run a few political errands?

Up to four friends co-operate on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a new character customisation and crafting system that lets crews build and customise their own guns and gear.

• Play the way you want - Each Heist has a variety of ways that you can approach it, its all up to the crew itself.

• Game Content - The game has had over 70 updates since release and is still getting updates all the time from new heists,new characters, weapons and other gameplay features.

My Opinion

Payday 2 is a fantastic game that you can jump on and have some fun. Everyone has the dream of robbing a bank and managing to get away with it! So why not do it on this game instead. The game has so many different features it may be slightly overwhelming at the start, but once you get playing, you will learn the ropes and it will feel fantastic. Payday 2 is best enjoyed with friends over voice communications, and all having different skills so that you can work best with each other. For example its always nice to have at least one medic and one ammo man, supplying med kits and ammo for the team. You will never get bored of this game, and there is so many different guns that you will want to purchase and try out over time. The game has so many DLC packs it can become expensive, but if you manage to grab the game during a bundle with all the DLC's it is fantastic. The DLC's add a lot more to the game, but the base game is still enough to keep you going for hours. If you enjoy wave based games and run and gun fps's then Payday 2 will defiantly be one for you to try out.
