Lantern Festival

One of the most amazing experiences that I have gone through so far is the lantern festival. During this you see a lot of people gather up in order to launch their personal lanterns. Many people from all different walks of life, difierent cultures and many of various religious backgrounds. All gather to launch their lanterns the process is pretty easy. First l, you have to find an event where they are hosting a lantern festival. You have to purchase your tickets and generally speaking you also have to have some type of transportation to get there. Once your there if you are not local you have to rent a hotel room, for you’ll have a difficult time driving all day to get back home. I personally attended the lantern festival in Arizona, Phoenix. It was quite majestic. When I was there, I went to eat with my family to a local ihop. Usually places where they host these types of events are pretty much in secluded areas. Later on we went to get our spot, so we had many things we brought with us. Sun screen proved to be very important because Arizona weather conditions are detesto my hot. We also took beach chairs, some blankets for the kids and we sat through the mini concert that was being hosted. Towards the end of the night around six to eight pm when it’s nice and dark everyone lights up their lanterns and they launch them up into space! While beautiful music is playing of coarse. The launch takes about 20 minutes over all, for you have to cooordinate thousands of people at the same time. Later on there is a countdown and everyone releases their laterns!
