And The Clouds Doth Parted... And It Was Good: Eclipse Photo
I stepped out of our local pizzeria today to check on the cloudy skies... hopeful that the eclipse would pop out and become visible today, as Central Iowa was a great place to view.
As luck would have it, the sun - and moon - peaked through the cloud cover for about 35 minutes, only tucking itself back in just as totality approached.
Although we missed the climax, I felt blessed to see such an awe-inspiring celestial moment.

And it was good indeed.... Great memory captured there.
Very nice pics. I as able to take some great pictures as well because there was a considerable amount of cloud cover, allowing my kids and I to view it with the naked eye!
