When you feel good about your day...
Today was a good day.
For the first time in months I had all all of my weekend workers pitch up together. This meant a lot could be done with outdoor building renovation and a land extension project. The better part about having a full compliment of casual staff is that I could have some 'me' time.
Fortunately for me, I have an awesome father who has years of building experience who lent a hand and directed some of the staff. This meant it was now time to play cars. I decided no cameras, no vlogging or blogging in mind just doing it!
You wouldn't believe how time consuming it is to vlog, the amount of retakes, preparation of equipment, making sure you have the right angle and thinking carefully amount what to say night. It really is a handful and takes you away from the enjoyment of the task at hand. Plus I got so much more done!
That being said, the unfortunate part is I didn't take any photos either.
Oh well
Here's what I achieved today
Toyota MR2 SW20
Repaired faulty positive battery terminal
Adjusted radio position
Removed T Tops, light sand with 1800 grit paper on the painted section and resprayed.
Mazda RX7 FD3S
Polished off some light scratches on the rear bumper and front headlight area
Touched up a few minor stone chips
Removed entire fuel pump assembly and repaired float (I haven't been able to see how much fuel I've had inside the tank since it arrives, so really happy this is done)
Cleaned up a lot of grime in the boot lid area near rubber surrounds
Parked dirty GTR outside for a change and left the clean FD in the garage
I promise next time I'll take my camera gear with me when I work in and out of the garage!
Thanks for the support everyone, nearing the 500 follower mark now :)
