Friday, Caturday, Sunday

My #caturday is a bit late. But in my defence every day is Caturday. And this story is about Friday morning.

This Friday was bank holiday and I was home. After morning walk with the dogs we found a pressie from the cat in the hallway - bunch of feathers. Oh my, there must be a bird inside. It is not the first time some silly pigeon to enter through the open balcony door. I hoped Furry did not kill the bird. Dogs rushed in the kitchen where the cat was already behind the cooker. And there was the pigeon. And it was such a kerfuffle. The bird trying to escape and running behind the cupboards, the cat chasing it, the dogs barking and trying to squeeze under the cupboards, one human with camera trying to take pictures and another moving the things around to reach the pigeon. I bet you can imagine how it looked.

So, I took the dogs in the bathroom to wash them. The cat was still after the bird, who this time managed to sneak behind the fridge. Ny hubby had to move the fridge and he caught it.

Furry made an attempt to pat the bird, but then thought twice and just sniffed it.

We let the bird go. The dogs and the cat were still excited. We cleaned the house and went to sunbathe on the balcony and there were new intruders - two caterpillars. I don't know where they came from and which plant was affected but my hubby got an idea to keep them and he cut an old plastic bottle, put grass and soil in it, the caterpillars in and an old stocking on the top. Furry, of course, was curious.

She saw the caterpillars wriggle and despite every attempt to reach them she did not give up for another few minutes. In the end I moved the bottle away.

After such an exciting day Furry was absolutely knackered.
