Feathered Friday - Crow
Crows are commonly seen in the town. It seems to me their numbers has increased in recent years.
They are very intelligent birds. Once walking the dogs in tne park, I saw one crow carrying wallnut in its beak. The bird dropped the wallnut several times on the ground until it broke.

There are other crows, black ones too. Still got no image of them. Even I am a bit confused which is crow or rook. 😀😀

Crows are very clever indeed. Another way to crack the nut is ... it drop in on the roadpath and waits while the vehicle run over the nut :) That's amazing. When I saw that for the first time I could believe my eyes ))

I try ro use the most of the phone camera, but it got its limits.
Crows are everywhere here and people don't even notice them.

cool shots they look dressed in style, I always think its so clever how they drop nuts from a height so they break and they can enjoy them

Howdy there nelinoeva! What great photos and I didn't know that crows had different colors, I thought they were all black! Very interesting. Your's look better and they're probably smarter too!
Hi there :-) The two colours are grey and black and on these images the black got blueish nuance. Are they smarter? I don't know LOàL But they are very noisy.
