Hello everybody!

My name is Nela, and I am a little late with my introduction.

I heard about Steemit through all the youtube people, talking about cryptocurrency. First through Amanda B. Johnson, then through @trevonjb. I checked it out for some time, and now I'm jumping in.

This is an exciting place. A free platform where everybody can write and share, express themselves and grow consciousness! This is finally the place we needed to make the world a better place, and to keep the cruel reality of our personal Hunger Games at bay, until we can defeat our ignorance towards a better society.

We all know that social media is the new mainstream media outlet. Me, I learned that while I was in school. That's why I became much more than just a journalist. I like to create, walk through the lines of apparently unreadable words imprinted in the depth of my vision, teach for those who walk behind me not to trip over the same stones as I did, and push through the darkness of an f22 aperture towards the wisdom, strength and beauty our society should thrive in.

I have many heroes. Some of them are dead. Some are still with us. One of them grooms and makes me thrive every day.
None of them wear capes.
What I want to be, is the hero able to help them.
