Sunday Purple :: Brewday Bromeliads!

I brew beer on Sunday.

In the midst of that, I also consider what small post I can make on Steemit. Multitasking! And lo, whilst wandering around my back patio, smelling the barley and hops of my brew, I found a couple of wee purple blooms on our bromeliads.

These durable plants are almost like a form of cactus; they're edged with prickly bits and stiff. But they're also quite beautiful, offering up tiny purple flowers every now and again.
