Learn to say No

We usually use a term “ People Pleaser”. People pleaser are those who put other’s satisfaction in front of ours. We say Yes to everything they say or ask. We stop living our life and end up in the vicious circle of the life of pleasing others. Have some mercy on yourself. Get out of that trap. Stop saying Yes to the unnecessary things which have no value in your life.

Why we say YES:

A. For the sake of relationship: We feel that saying no will hurt his/her feelings and the relationship we share with them will change.

B. Fear of being left out: If we say NO, they might not ask us again, they will not include us in the future plans. We will end up alone.

C. Being emotionally weak: Usually, it's hard for women to say No. They always try to be nice to others and make them feel comfortable. Hurting others is the hardest thing for them.

How to say NO:

Know your limits: Prioritise your commitments, know your limits. If you have to push yourself too much to do something for others, then just say NO.

Treat yourself with Integrity: Respect your decisions. Respect your integrity. Don’t let other's to eat up your precious time.

Don’t be impulsive: If you can not say NO, just be diplomatic. Buy yourself some time to think over. Analyse if saying Yes is hampering your life priorities or not.

Don’t make excuses: You don’t have to explain everything to others, it's your life. Just say No and walk away.
