antique coins or bullion?

This is a question I hear often, should I buy antique coins or bullion. Well it depends on why your buying if you really believe that the world is about to end you should just buy some silver cups and a silver pitcher for water. Silver will react with the water and kill all the bacteria in it so it will be safe to drink. If you think the country will break down like the U.S.S.R or Yugoslavia then the answer is about the same. If society really breaks down then there will be no value in gold and the silver will just have the value already described. If you think the nation as I do will slowly break down and look like Brazil then you should buy antique coins. Below is a photo of a antique coin I just sold on eBay.

When I bought that coin I payed about five dollars for it. Now it sells for forty dollars.




These silver coins I have after cleaning them in lemon juice can be used to purify water or I could sell them as is for about twenty five dollars and put it in litecoin. What do you think I should do?
