Why smart peoples are very quite.

They are observing.

They watch and listen way more than they talk.

It’s not about getting their point across but learning about why you’ve made your point.

To be honest, quiet people scare me a little.

I never really know what they are thinking, because they are too busy trying to figure out what I’m thinking.

I have a friend who’s dad is incredibly quiet.

He literally doesn’t talk at all.

But he graduated the top of his class at an Ivy League University.

He’d just sit in the back and observe everything.

When we were little, I remember watching him with all of the other parents, and he’d just sit there and listen.

When he did talk, it was to ask more questions.

You see, smart people don’t really ever feel the need to get their point across because they already have reason to believe they are right. All they want to know, is why you are making your point.

So how do you converse with a smart/quiet person?

Ask questions.

Lots of them, without coming off as an incredibly stuck up person.

But, get into their head.

You never know what you will find.
