Who do you say i am?

Matthew 16:13-17 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples saying, Whom do men say I am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some Elias; and other, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He said unto them, But who do you I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, you are the Christ, the son of the Living God. And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona; for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you rather my Father In Heaven.

It is a wonderful day today and Christ is asking ask who we say he is. A lot of Christians just go to church because everyone is going and as a member of the congregation they ought to also be there, some go because the family goes to church every Sunday, whereas others also see an opportunity to meet their partners and to make new friends. These individuals know Christ as everyone does but they probably have not encountered him yet, thus it is yet to be revealed to them from the Spirit. Do not assume that because someone goes to church that person knows Christ. Ask a fellow who Jesus is and be surprise at the variety of answers you will encounter. When Simon Knew who Christ is, he had a promised from Jesus that he will build his church on him. Knowing Christ comes with lots of blessings too.

Today my focus is to draw your attention to Christ. Ask yourself who Christ is to you, Who do you say Jesus is? Pray for divine revelation that your life may be impacted as such. Have a blessed day even as you meditate on the word today.
