Let go of the Doubts
John 20:25, Unless i see the nail marks in his hand, put my finger into them, and put my hand into his side, i will never believe!.
It is not only Thomas who doubted, many of us doubt everyday just that we do not voice it out. Having doubt about something or someone could in the long run affect how you react to it or the person, how you believe in the person and how you even relate with the person.
Imagine two people in a relationship who doubt each other or one doubting the other. What happens is the one in doubt is always looking for clues to confirm his suspicion, he is always seeking for the person to fail in one way or the way just so he or she wins and be proved right and sometimes this go on for a while such that it even an unconscious act but you will be directly or indirectly working again your fellow.
Yes doubt could lead us to new discoveries and understandings etc, but we should let doubt crowd our judgement especially when it comes to our relationship with God, for we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind and spirit and to put our absolute faith in him if we are to see an immense development in our ways. And so in concluding today's message i would entreat all and sundry to let go of the doubt and avail themselves before the Lord and see their lives take new heights.
Thanks for your time and have a blessed day.
doubt declines personal growth.
Yes indeed and thanks for passing by
