Helping the Ministry Grow, Our Duty as Parishioners

Joel 2:28; And it shall come to pass afterward, that i will pour out my spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

This is promise of the Lord and most of us would surely agree that the end days are nigh, the Spirit of God is actively working among men and God is closer to us. A lot of miracles are happening all across the globe and new people are being brought into the ministry of his calling. This is nothing as Joel had already prophesied this, it is thus up to us to continue to do the work of God more diligently and encourage others into the ministry.

There are others however who tend to put fear in those who have found new gifts or better still unearth their gifts that the Holy Spirit has given them, they do not want them to come out to work for the Lord as they are supposed to and they hinder their progress and do a lot of things to even mar their reputation. Some are afraid of losing their church members to others whiles others just wants to raise more money and even dupe people, yes the bible also foretold of these false prophets and all and as such we ought to be vigilante and stand firm in the Lord. As Parishioners it is our duty to help these people, those that have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit to come forth and help the ministry grow. Lets not pull others down as the grow in the Lord rather encourage and uplift them that we may in newness of life serve the Lord. Have Blessed Week and may the Lord be with you.
