I'm in the process of Re-Designing my own Steem journey. So I wanted to create an Steemit homepage and let my fellow steemians know, who am I ? Why am I here? What am I doing here ?...and all other kind of questions. It's quite hard to keep track of me as I'm always move fast and always thinking differently and most importantly I'm thinking long term.

download.jpeg

And quite frankly I wanted to contribute our STEEM ecosystem much as possible in my own unique way and still in the process of simplifying my contributions according to my strengths, may be I should hire someone to write my content for me because I suck at writing. or I should rent a camera-man to shoot videos for me. May be there are so many things I could do.

However because you're the people who I want to add value to, you probably have some

Feedback
Suggestions
Recommendations
Advice
Guidance
Support
Compliments
for me to make my contribution better and more impactful.

So I decided to create Footer for my HomePage before I even create my Homepage.

Yes this is me and I do things upside down, However I still find ways to add value to some people's Steem journey (Today I delegated my own 777 SP to @snook) while I find ways to add value to many many more Steemians steem journey.

So your...

feedback will be much appreciated
suggestions will be welcomed
recommendations will be look into it
Advice is always good

I know it might be difficult for you to give me feedback when you don't know me very well but some of my actions probably give you an idea.

Please be comment your feedbacks here in the comment section.

Thanks a million !!!!!

Alright, I’ll answer this as an if I had your power question!

  • First I would create a brand, wait I have one #OneLoveDTube 😉, that works as a collaborative influence hub for community development and growth. In other words get a community behind your direction to which you can help them through guidance and support.
  • Second, check out some of the webpages other Steemians have put together. I would love to have a community webpage that can also interact with the blockchain such as what @cgbartow has been doing with @cgp on his site https://cgp.life and I would confront the individual about spearheading development, build a small team to keep it running.
  • Third, expand the show thinking of Philip Defranco on YouTube. Yes a camera man but also record your own stuff as a show like you have been doing. Your camera man can capture everything happening as it unfolds and turn those into a simple vlog doing all edits of the shows, he will be a critical piece to this puzzle, this will open your day for recording and research with your community.
  • Fourth, from within the community that grows to support you find the people for positions like writing and translation thus giving you the opportunity to credit them for their efforts raising awareness for their activities on the blockchain. You could even put together a community account for hosting these works separate from you own and then only endorsing those who strive for greatness thus inclusion of everyone but still curation for the best!
  • Fifth, SMT for funding your community. I would follow a @helpie example of curation and support for your community with a @1up spin with an SMT launch for kickbacks for early investors. Start building your efforts to support into the community that draws support into the projects of interest through said community.
  • Sixth, simultaneously build your own name further into the brand behind the community, they represent your outreach channels just think about having 100 active Steemians as outreach bringing only the best of the best ideas back to your eyes through the community for further support.

I hope this gives you the idea of the direction I would go say I had the financial means to bank roll, knowledge can be bought the destination only requires the vision to see how to overcome technical complications.

Greetings, @nathanmars.
It's a nice gesture of you to appeal to your followers for advice and feedback.
I like your spontaneity and sheer optimism. I think that it's admirable your desie to contribute to the platform, invest constantly, delegate to others, etc.
I'm not sure I can provide solid suggestions to improve your contributions to the platform, but if I had the resources and contacts, I guess I'd do some of the things you've mention:

  • Hire some hands to help with video editing and image (more graphic or visuals that would attract younger followers).
  • Clarify projects in terms of goals and expectations and how the regular steemian can join or support.
  • Include as part of the videos images of the places you visit (you have travelled so much and yet we don't get much of the places you go to or the people you interact with). I know you have posted fun videos with people in the streets of london, etc. But, it can be done more sistematically. Travel blogs, business blogs, etc.
  • Provide some guidance as to what exactly a new steemian can do to walk the path of success and growth. To say that we have to invest in Steemit may sound as an abstraction to some. Other than buying steem power (if money is available) there's no clear path to follow for those who start only producing content.

Hope that makes some sense

Agreed, well said @hlezama 🍻

Specifically the guidance part in your fourth point!

Thank you!! I just woke up to your post......I don't know what to say other than Thank You!!

My advice was for free and always will be........When I see a person in need of some knowledge I have I think it is up to a person to share it. People helping other people is what this world should be all about.

I will use your gift as best I can to help others too.

I'm really very speechless ...... and that doesn't happen often :D but again, Thank You!!

Oh, and you should stop into The Steemit Ramble Discord right now....... a great group is chatting after the Witness Chat.

@snook is a fantastical content creator really, expecially her podcast, it's a fantastic decision @nathanmars really, thank you for the decision it's the right one.
I could recommend other fantastic steemian too if you wish.

Thank you @josediccus for your very kind words!!!

@nathanmars, you are a great Steemian. I have arrived today in my home country Bulgaria. I started explaining to my friends here information about what Steemit is, and even showed your account to them, because you are a great person!

Have been following you for a longtime now. Even before I made my first 100sp you motivate and encourage me to do more. Thank you

About you delegating some steem power to your true and real followers. I never got a feedback from you

I think this is right decision.

So I decided to create Footer for my Home Page

Love your last post. Plants are air :D
Great words!

Hello, @natanmars. Thank for your post, it’s “push” me to the thought’s process...
I think that when we at ecosystem and alone, without any support, to do something and deal with somebody so difficult, and they can’t go out of the “circle” and it’s a beginning for dirty content, which have nothing because of reluctance at research of special articles and others. So unique content just drowns in the sea unnecessary. And nobody care.
I think that all steemians must unite in the creation and maintenance of quality work, while not losing our humanity. Not to lose the feeling that we are not an emotionless robots capable of only one-word sentences is an important task for all of us.

Well quality work is one thing but as of late there seems to be pressure for typical social media use, humans will be humans and not everyone contributes to the same level.

The only way to offset the ongoing concerns with steemit I believe is through strong community which can build influence towards the ongoing development of the platform.

@edwardsun55 and @d00k13, we, the Steemians, should unite and do our best to make the community grow!

The first thing would be @nathanmars deciding on a platform for which we would all collaborate our efforts, I know he is not fond of discord but with the steemit bots already developed for automation of different support systems it could be a key piece of the puzzle and many are already familiar. It would allow a smoother collaborate effort with privacy thus ideas that may be rejected do not reflect on the users blockchain experiences. Plus the added personal connection with private discussion, asking for permission or just flushing out details of a project before going live with it.

I agree with @cryptospa and you are right too. We need both of this for next developing level.

Exactly

From my point of view you are being too pushy, with how you focus your post titles; but it's just my opinion
