I'm new to Steemit. Having watched the"Keiser Report", on RT News. One of Max Keiser's guest was discussing blockchain and mentioned how he made $17,000 on an article about crypto currency. I was blown away and had to get involved. I love writing mostly editorials about the truth in government and the mainstream. The part of Steemit that I am not sure I'm going to be able to overcome is MarkDown. I appreciate the ease of creating a blog. Yet at my age almost 46 I struggle with the code and unlike the younger crowds I'm not a natural at figuring out how to create such killer content. I still find this platform exciting. Why get your information from the dinosaur media? The 21st century is a great time for citizens to create their own destiny. Musicians, Journalists, Writer's, Artists of every genre imaginable can become global sensations with a smartphone or tablet. This is a great time to be young! I am not...but I will struggle all the same, bad grammar and all, I will do my best to break the chains of procrastination and blog my brains out! As a GenX'er I have seen the past and the present, and I know the truth! But will I survive this new platform? I'm here without one friend. Just me and my words. Will my natural ability to be antisocial also be my downfall, will my lack of coding blogs bring me Steemit Failure? Failure is so Punk Rock that I find a certain Glory in failure! If I fail at this, hats off to all you tech savvy bloggers. Social Networking is the Revolution!

Thank you so much for the welcome, I appreciate it!

I feel you brother. Markdown is a challenge. I'm just taking it a little at a time. I've learned a few things here and there in the six months I've been on here, but definitely not a lot comparatively speaking. In my opinion, good content is good content, regardless of one's ability to create visually stunning pieces. I'm in it for the words. I'm sure there are a lot of others out there like me as well. So I'd like to wish you good luck.

Thanks for the feedback, one thing I have noticed is even kindergartners will watch People on YouTube vs. anything on cable, The people have fastly replaced corporate content, and the younger generation don't even give it a thought, as much as I don't look forward to the future in terms of economics, there are quite a few nice surprises seeing people empowering their own destinies through technology!

Exactly! I've taken Steemit one step at a time. Just get down the very basics first and then go from there.

If you edit "introduction" to "introduceyourself" you will get more attention.
