What podcasts do you listen to?
I know crypto is down, but dang, y'all! Did everyone die? Wake up and come back to steem!
Let's get to know each other a bit with some productive discussion.
I'm new to podcasts. I know, I know. Welcome to the 21st century Nate. Way to stay relevant.
I've started listening to a few, and wondered if anyone has more recommendations.
Here's what I listen to:
- @libertyepodcast. @ashe-oro's podcast about putting the entrepreneurial spirit to work to create liberty for yourself and the rest of the world. Definitely worth a listen and a follow on steem. Very relevant guy.
- @anarchoxp. Stephen is running a fairly new podcast that I was lucky to find pretty quickly. He looks at the relationship between Christianity and the state. I recommend it for anyone, regardless of religion. If you're an atheist, it's a good way to learn to debate your Christian statists friends on their terms. If you're a Christian, it's a good way to help you learn more about the Christian example and apply it more to your own life.
- Jocko Podcast. He's a retired Navy SEAL that talks about business, leadership, and war stories. Really good stuff.
- Hardcore History. I've not listened to many due to the attention that's necessary, but what I've heard is incredibly insightful, well researched, and we'll produced.
I've had Joe Rogan recommended a lot and will probably start listening this weekend.
What do y'all listen to and what do you recommend?
Stay relevant y'all.
Nate
I try listening to Styx when I can, Infowars and the Warroom when I can stand them, Chuckie 2009 when he's not being a Chinese tool salesman, This Old Tony and Clickspring when I wish to feel fancy and intellectual about tools, and Vintage machinery when I'm feeling retro and nostalgic.
Nice! Didn't know chucke2009 had a podcast. I usually enjoy his YouTube videos. He does try everything he can get his hands on, huh?
Well YouTube, I didn't know people actually still "podcast".
As far as stuff that isn't tools I listen to Bill Burr sometimes.
I listen to too many, all but one are on 2x speed.
Radical personal finance
The survival podcast
The financial independence podcast (the mad fientiest)
Side hustle nation
Joe Rogan
And my number 1 fav, the only 1x speed podcast is
The Big O and Dukes show.
It may take 4-5listens to get pulled into all the back stories the reference.
Ii have done hardcore history before not sure how that fell off, and I need to ad Jocko's, heard him on Rogan and it was great.
I forgot TSP. TSP is life.
Tell me about side hustle nation. That sounds right up my alley.
Great podcast, I found it a year or two ago and it talks about everything from starting to your first side hustle to taking it full time. Lots of tips and productivity hacks. Even after listening, I struggle to see the opportunities that I am sure exist with clear eyes. I would recommend a listen to a few episodes.
I'm gonna go subscribe right now. Thanks!
I have a small weld shop that I run as a side hustle right now, and I'm looking to expand into rough carpentry. I've been a welder by trade for my day job for five years now, and a cabinet maker's assistant off and on for twelve, so I know a bit about my trades.
Thanks for the resource to help increase productivity, I hope it'll prove useful!
Thru the Bible. You can download the entire 5 year program for free at ttb.org. Dr J Vernon McGee died in 1988 but his ministry lives on.
Nice! Is it a meditation/devotional or just an audio recording of the Bible?
I dont really listen to any...LOL
Im probably missing out on a bunch of stuff
There's a bunch of good learning to be done. It's simple with podcasts because you can listen and learn while you do other stuff.
