THE DIARY GAME - 03/05/2022 - MY EID ACTIVITIES

Fellow steemians, I hope you are all doing well.

It is a great pleasure to tell you about my activities on this faithful occasion. Today was Eid-ul-Fitr which means that we are going to visit the mosque and thank God for the successful fasting he had bestowed upon us.

Fasting is an opportunity for us to plead for forgiveness of sins and also to lead a pious life. I believe this because, there are various guidelines that are given during this faithful day and they all have something in common which is, to reshape our lifes.

By the will of God, we will get used to the good way of life we learnt during this period.

ARRIVAL AT THE EID GROUNDS

Since we were going to pray today, it was important for us to get to the mosques as early as possible. We got there and started to recite some prayers for ourselves and that of the entire mankind.

This prayer is offered as a group so we usually visit the park, which is big enough to host us all.

After the prayer was done, it was time for us to eat. In order for us to have a feel of the Eid celebrations together, the Imam asked us to bring food to the prayer ground so that we would break bread together.

This is a tradition we have adopted for some time now and would surely be continued for a long time.
