Hi steemians, Greetings to you all.
I was born in 2000 in a family of two medical personels. One a senoir nursing officer and the other a senoir anathesist , both working at the same hospital in mukono. Having born is such a family of medics, we stayed in the hospital quarters for quite a long period of time.I lived my life and other children who belonged to the different centers of the hospital quaters .We used to spend the whole day together playing and we only parted on lunch time and in the evening as we went to our various homes to shower and rest as the night set in.
Since all our parents were medical workers, we were greatly inspired by the way they usually looked in there uniforms and this inspired mist of us to become doctors and nurses . Because of this, all the games we played in our childhood were only about treatment of diseases especially injecting on the bums , checking for temprature ,serving tablets and putting drips on the sick. We usually played these games on a daily basis because its the environment we hhad lived in seeing adimistration carry out treatment. I enjoyed such life because we all knew what were playing and enjoyed eachothers company as well in childhood.
As time went by , i started schooling in bording schools and it was very hard for me to meet up with my friends . Everyone had jouned there own school and i was the furest amingest all because i had been taken to Kigulu Girls School in Iganga district and my friends were studying in Mukono. We usually met during the holidays but we could not still pkay the same childhood games because the world had set us mature and and left us with education .

Life continued but because if the transfers , we were transfered to Bukiwe district were my father was put in Kawoolo hospital then we started to luve in lugazi for settlement with time. This was so boring because i missed my childhood friends alot. But still lufe had to continue because it never poses and waits. Studies continued as expected with my dream of becoming a doctor hahahaha i jaz you what ,,things cahanged on the way to bank mangers and i had to hold on to another dream fir the bank. Joined the universityand iam niw pursing a Bachealirs degree in Science in Finance very far different from doctorate. I will wanted to be an anthesist , really wanted to know what happens in the theater rooms but never had i gotten a golden opportunity to enter there even after changing my dream to finance.

This year, the opportunity to enter the theater room came As a blessing under problems. .My mother hapoened to have contracted a disease name hanea and it need an immediate surgery. Though it was a had situation to handle i kept calm till 9: 00am when she taken to the operation room where i escortted her but stayed out since i was just a care taker. She was there first patient that day in the morning .It was really a trying moment as i waited from outside the theater room just in deep prayers for it to be successsfull.
One hour later i was called to pick her implying that the whole process had gone on very well and it was successfully. This is the happiest moment of all sissories. When your patient returns alive. I Thank the lord immediately because it wasnot easy for her and me.

Went in and took her to the room where she was supposed to get her treatment from and take a rest.Kept around her quiet because
She couldnot walk and talk but she needed someone near her to confort her. After some time she started to talk and this was really amazing and it greatly energised me because i was seeing my patient progress in healing..

Due to the excietment , looked for my father and pleaded with him to take me and atleast have a look at tge theater room . I knew it deep inside me he couldnot accept because the place is only entered by the theater staff, patients to be operated , the cleaner who cleans the theater room abd the technicians who enters there on rear occassions incase of any breakdiwn of the machine.
I had for many years longed to see the big knife that cuts people's bellys. I was lucky enough that my father granted my a chance and took me to the theater room where he does his work from .
It was really an amazing moment seeing what i never expected to find. Big machines, small and medium ones. Surpringly, i didnot see the big knife for cutting people 's bellies😂😂😂 . I hope you enjoy the tour with me.This is whhat i saw and learnt about the theater.
Little did i know it had rules and regulations they follow. On arrival at the entrance ,😁rule 1 applied immediately.
"Do not enter with your shoes"
I removed my shoes then walked in and found very many pairs ofsandles at the enttrance inside .then quickly pick one pair for my self.
Walked around the inside and i saw the tube in the picture below which he called an oxygen tube. This shoked me because i expected to see a huge tank having air and not water.

My next move was the really place i had really wanted and longed to see. While i reached at this door, rule 2 applied.
"Do not enter here with electricity gardgets" .mmmh this also shocked me. Remember i wanted photos here to keep the memory of this room fresh. Lucky enough there was no machine opperating,no patient and i was allowed to enter with my phone. The place had a great look that it kept me wondering its looks.
Saw big round light to produces light during surgery.

After that took a look at the bed where they lay the patients to be operated

Infront of the operating bed there is an anathestic measurement scale that produces sound of the heart bit that helps the doctors in the process to know if there patient is still alive. It pluses pluse sounds.
