It worked
A few months ago our son came home to visit.
With him he brought a heavy bag. It contained 5 pieces of Corning Ware dishes. He knows I like them and bought them at a flea market for me. Nice!
Then he pulls out a much smaller bundle and turns on his shit eating grin. Proceeds to announce he bought this glass for me. We had a set of these jelly jars when he was growing up. He wanted me to put this in the cupboard so when I opened the cupboard door and saw the glass I would think of him. A little distorted approach but darned if it doesn't work.
Thinking of him now. (But I really don't need the glass to think of him)
I had some of those jelly jars too, that's a very cool flea market find
He gets the flea market habit from his dad and I. We trained him well we like to think!
