Misspelling of Restaurant

For the longest time, every time I passed by a particular restaurant in the city I live in, I saw that the sign on the building had a misspelled word in it, and that misspelled word was, of all things, restaurant. Instead of spelling it like it should be spelled, the sign said, "restaurat".

Being that it was spelled that way, it kind of made me wonder just what type of food they served in there. Lol. But after months and months had passed by, one day when I was passing by the place once again, I noticed that the "n" had finally been added to the previously misspelled word.
