Hello Steemit Community! 💙
After hearing about steemit for quite a while from a few of my friends, I decided to join the community despite not knowing what to write about yet haha so I guess I'll start with some introduction about myself.
My name is Namwan. I'm originally from a city called Chiangmai, in northern Thailand. This is a picture of me during a Christmas party trying to look like we were having a cold Christmas while the weather on that day was only 22 degree Celsius lol (yup that's as cold as it gets 😂)
A little bit about where I'm from. Chiangmai is a chill city that attracts a lot of backpackers and coffee lovers. There are lots of mountains, waterfalls, and hikes not too far from the city while coffee shops are available at almost every corner of the street.
This is the picture where I went up to the mountain with my family. There was still fog to see even the sun was almost setting, which was close to 6pm.
Cafes and coffee shops in Chiangmai always have good presentation for the products and the location for "chill-vibe" and Instagram-friendly purpose.

There are so many things to do in Chiangmai. Doi Suthep is a famous destination as well as elephant sanctuary. You should also check out Nimman road, walking street, and Mae-ya waterfall :)

Yeah! It seemed like a good place to start! My friend is already in Vietnam so Chiang Mai is a nice place to meet up!
The Elephant Sanctuary is definitely on our list, but I haven't heard of the other things you mentioned. I will take a look at those for sure :D
Oh, oh! And I am looking for a fabulous place for a massage. I am dying for one and saving myself up for a real Thai one! If you have any recommendations for a salon, that'd be amazing :D
I actually don't know that many massage place unfortunately :( but there's a website we use in Thailand for review called "www.wongnai.com" where you can type a place or a restaurant and see the reviews and pictures. I wish I could give you a suggestion but hope this helps! :)
