Things I have learned Recently From Steem

This is not supposed to be negative. It is intended to be an after action review (military term) for me. If other Steem/Steem Monster people can gleen something from it and be better equipped then so be it. Hopefully I will not be banned forever from the community for voicing my concerns.

So I have been voting with a full 100% vote every time my steem gets fully charged. I have 1500 Steem Power delegated, am working with close to 300 SP, considering up to 10,000 more.

#1. came to the realization that unless my vote is at least .03 it is considered "Dust" and does not make a difference.

I apologize to all the people I have upvoted for, carefully considering my vote, only to learn that the .01-.02 cents (all that I am capable of voting) is absolutely worthless.

You will NOT be paid for my vote and the 2 cents will weaken my future vote. Your part of my 2 cent vote will go back to the establishment, being wasted.

Please do not be upset if, in the future, I refrain from voting. It is not because I do not appreciate your blog but why throw pennies to the wind and have them lost forever. If I vote my .01-.02 please consider it a meager offering to you. We both know you won't be paid for it but it is all I can muster. I wish my vote was worth $5 or $10 or $100 but until it is please understand.

#2. I have tried hard to accrue new Steemmonster cards in hopes of investing. @steemmonsters. I have purchased a couple hundred dollars in new packs, I have spent over $70 on a whole collection of cards (937 approximately).

I learned today that Steemmonster cards are overprinted (overinflated) and realized that most cards are selling in the .01 (1 penny USD range). There are much more made than there are players.

The same thing that is happening with Venezuelan currency. I spoke with a woman from Venezuela today, where a McDonald's cheeseburger costs $15 (the small one) and she said things were very bad there. I could not completely understand her English (I admire she is bi-lingual). She said the military was put aside today? And the regular government would be restored. Not sure if that was bad or good but she seemed to think it was positive. She is the woman in my blog earlier asking for a vote. A vote for her gives her a couple of dollars extra to buy some food (not enough for a $1.00 cheeseburger from Mcdonald's which is $15.00 in Venezuela)

One can argue that "one day the Steemmonster cards will be worth something" but with almost ZERO value anything could be worth something one day. (Sorry for the bad segway that is how it worked out. It is late here and this phone in un-cooperative)

I have had a few beers so forgive me for saying this...but one day a dog turd could be worth a nickel when dogs go extinct.

I tried to achieve Diamond level on Steemmonsters. That did not work out. I did get within a few points of diamond. I was awarded 30 new cards for the Gold I level achieved.

The 30 cards were junk mostly with the exception of a Black Dragon card (which I cannot use). I could sell that one and maybe get $3 in return. The other 29 cards were all in the 1 to 2 cent range.

Here is the other thing that is mind boggling....why can I not access my good cards on Steemmonsters?

Most of my cards are at least a 5 or 6 level cards. I am starting with the new tournament at a silver level. I cannot win against people from the previous tournament that I beat every time because I cannot access my higher level cards.

If my Summoner is too high a level it will not let me use that summoner.

I thought the solution might be to have multiple summoners at 3,4 and 5 level but that doesn't seem to work. If anyone has advice on this please let me know.

I don't understand how Gold 1 matches can be easy but silver 1 are unwinnable with the same units.

I had and still have BIG hopes coming to Steemit.com. I enjoy playing @steemmonsters

I realize everything is not perfect and I have cyber met a few wonderful people and some very considerate bots in the last month.

My hope is that I can in some way enrich this website AND be a support for the kind people that blog here daily. Hopefully I can enrich, assist/help those same people to laugh, prosper and live through my efforts.
