As soon as the weekend is nearing I get this itchy feeling in my feet, the feeling of wilderness. Weekends are never meant to spend at home. For the last few months I was feeling like I was chained up, but now that things are little eased out, the weekends are once again up for exploration and wilderness.

We decided to go for a long drive in the hills, little away from the city. The beauty of the place is that there are not many people around. You would hardly see some one or two at a distant so no fear of the virus and you are all by yourself with nature.

It was a drive 2 hours away from the city, just a 2 hour drive but it takes us to a complete different world all together. And it's so peaceful. I wanted to stay back some where in these mountains and never come back.

Such wonderful eye soothing views in a very long time. It was a cloudy day and on the way we also had rains which made the climate very pleasant and perfect for a drive with soft music.

Since it's a monsoon season there are some waterfall views also on the way

So much variety of plant life in the region.
