Getting back home from Hospital
After a long stay of 11 days at the hospital for my hubby's treatment we are finally home. But not for very long until we fly back to India and start the treatment there again. It is said that when one member of the family falls sick and gets hospitalized the whole family specially the very close ones also almost gets hospitalized.
It has been dreadful last 2 months since the beginning of the year 2020 and I am not getting clueless as to where is all of this getting to. At times it gets difficult to manage. Just when we feel that his health is getting stable, something gets wrong and we feel like we are pulled back again to the bottom.
This time the hospital stay was a little difficult one, as he was first kept in the isolation area and then in a common like place where they would have 24 hours monitoring. It would become difficult for the one who is staying with the patient as then it is like a common place. He could not be given a private room as then that would be a little far from the nurse station and he needed 24 hrs monitoring. Systems are little different in this city of Muscat, unlike in Mumbai.
His Myasthenia crises has been playing a havoc. We did the Immunoglubulin treatment which did not work effectively, so then we had to go in for a Plasma exchange. Some positive signs are there after the treatment, but the doctor mentions that it is a short term effect and the next step is surgery of removal of Thymoma. But for this his condition needs to be very stable else it will create further complications. For stability all we can do now is the medication and the extra care. I am hoping and praying that things improve from here on so that we can go in for his surgery at the earliest.
Everything is so uncertain at this point of time, we are taking each day as it comes. One day he is completely fine and just when we feel good there is some complication that comes up.
Every night when I sleep I just pray that morning when we wake up everything is peaceful because that is the time he faces the maximum difficulty in throat activities like breathing, swallowing and eventually it settles down.
Tonight we again fly back to India and start with the other line of treatment immediately. His condition is very uncertain so we do not have the liberty to buy in any more time now.
Hopefully it will all soon be fine for us and we will get back to our normal lives hail and hearty.

I am so sorry about your Husband having to undergo his ordeal about his medical condition @nainaztengra because I know how it feels like to have a terrible illness. I am praying for his wellness. :(
