Fine Architecture of Rome
Rome has been one of the most fascinating place that I have ever visited. When I look at their structures they are all so huge and larger then life, be it the Colosseum, or the Vatican, Pantheon, the temples, domes everything is huge and you just marvel the fine architecture of this place. In today's time we have modern techniques, tools and equipment's to make large structures but in those times everything must have been manual and it must have been such a challenge and yet they build it all so magnificently that you can just be in awe of it. I wonder how they must have managed to build these huge domes.
How fascinating these structures are and we can only marvel at them, the people who made these structures must be so very skillful, wonder if we would have these kind of skills in today's time. May be yes but not in the same amount as it was in these past times.

This post would have benefited greatly from captions on the photographs.
It loses value significantly without even knowing what building(s) are featured in the photographs.

Thank you for highlighting that. These are the images of the domes and ceilings in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican city.

Absolutely breath-taking. It's unfathomable that someone actually constructed that many, many years ago. Thanks for sharing!

True, it's just unbelievable how these structures were created so many centuries back and they still hold charm to this date.
