A Special Gift for my Sister
My Sister and her family moved to their new Home around a week ago. Last week after moving they had their prayer rituals done, which is normally a custom we follow when we move to new home. It's meant to be auspicious. I so wanted to be there, since it was a nice family gathering with all the cousins and children getting together, Mom also stays with them. But sadly I could not. It's been almost 1 and a half year that I have met anyone of them.
I was planning to travel to India on 18th April and then visit her for few days, but now that also seems bleak. There is again a lot of chaos in Mumbai and I do not want to take chances. Normally Mom comes to Muscat every year in the month of March or April, but now this year even that is not possible.
Anyways I am so excited about their new home, it's so much bigger then their old one and also the overall vibe is very good. I did send some gifts for their new home. I also wanted to gift her something very very special, something that would be very unique. And what better could I think then gifting her something in Crystals. So I specially got it made for their home. A Crystal Tree.
I got it custom made from a friend of mine who is into Crystals, I gave him my wish list and he made it accordingly. Though it's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's somewhere close to it.
It's a 2 ft Tree with 15 Inches of Crystal part. I wanted more of the Crystal part, around 18 inches minimum and a little wider spread, so that was some disappointment. But I love the Crystal color combinations used. Normally the readymade ones that are available in the market has a very scanty look of crystals. This one looks like a full tree, and I wanted it that way. Also the ready made ones available majority are made of 1 Crystal color or the colors are in layers. I specifically wanted a mix and I am happy the way it's come out.
The Significance of a Crystal Tree is, it can be kept in the home for Good Luck. A Tree is symbol of Growth, Stability, Expansion, Strength, and I wish all of this for my sister and her family.
I have now asked my friend to make another one exactly as per my specifications, let's see how it comes out to be.
