"Smoking Kills!”
"Smoking kills" is a phrase that is familiar to our ears. I believe in the truth of this quote. Someone in my family died because of smoking. He did not die immediately when he started smoking cigarettes, but cigarettes killed him slowly. According to stories from my family, he had been smoking since he was in junior high school.
This theme made me have to do light interviews with people who are addicted to smoking. They justify the expression. But not too concerned about it. Perhaps this is because smoking does not kill spontaneously. It kills slowly by destroying the vital organs in the body slowly.
Addiction to smoking is influenced by the environment. I am grateful to grow and grow up in a family far from cigarette smoke. My dad doesn't smoke. So I never saw my brother smoke.
Smoking addiction is also created because of social relations. Many people smoke because the work environment is full of smokers. Many children smoke because they are trapped in an environment surrounded by smokers. These social habits can be a factor that makes a person addicted to smoking. Of course, the main thing is the nicotine content contained in cigarettes as a creator of addiction.
I do not smoke. In Indonesia, women who smoke are a strange thing and are labeled as naughty women. The cigarettes are only consumed by men in Indonesia. And I don't like the smell of people smoking. I once asked a man to put out his cigarette on the bus. And what happened? He didn't put out the cigarette but instead looked at me with an unfriendly look.
Cigarettes contain harmful substances in them. The most prominent change in a smoker is a body or mouth odor. I don't like sitting in a smoker's environment. And I don't want to damage God's lungs and make life shorter.
Various methods are offered to reduce smoking addiction. In my opinion, the best way to quit smoking is to build self-awareness that health is expensive. Lungs cannot be bought. Take good care of it.
The other tips to reduce the rate of smoking addiction is reducing the smoking. If you are in the habit of one packet every day, then it is necessary to carry out the one-half-pack day program for one month. Then lowered consumption again in the second month to just a few sticks. And in the next month so too until no longer addicted to cigarettes.
I read this concept from several sources about procedures for treating people who are already addicted to the use of illegal drugs. And it's proven to be effective.

You have shared a great participation and this is such a sensitive topic on which everyone needs to work. Yes, the best way of getting rid of smoking is first reducing it's consumption and then completely stop it.
Another best way to reduce it by family, friend counseling and therapies. Smokers should try to reduce its consumption by indulging in physical activities and exercises that are good for our physical well being.
