CHARACTER BUILDING. Chapter 6. Forgiveness.

Assalamualaikum and good morning to everyone. Hope everyone is dashing as always .

Today i would like to put light on the topic "forgiveness".

Dear fellows, Allah says in Holy Quran that "forgive the mistakes of others". Soorah al noor . Verse number 22.

We should learn the art of forgiving the mistakes of others. We should raise our children in such away that they should not feel ashamed in seeking pardon if they commit a mistake and forgive when others seek forgiveness.

Forgiving others for their mistakes increase our respect in the eyes of pardon seeker.

Holy prophet hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that " forgive others, by doing so, if you lose your honour, take from me on doomsday".

Focus the words of Holy Quran and Holy Prophet. How much they emphasize on forgiveness. Holy prophet always emphasized on the character building and society building. He knew that forgiveness is a pillar for building a peaceful society. That's why he worked on the character building of his companions day and night.

There are thousands of examples in which holy prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions forgive others. For example Holy prophet pardoned the killer (wehshi bin harb) of his uncle (hazrat hamza r.z).

For building a welfare society, we should give importance to the teachings of Holy Prophet which is to forgive others on their mistakes.
