Ducks are aquatic birds of the Anatidae family of the Anseriformes class. Many species of ducks are migratory, while some are permanent residents. All ducks have flat beaks. The edges of the lips are furrowed like a comb. As a result, they can filter food items out of water. The necks and legs of ducks are much shorter than the necks and legs of swans and mallards. Duck eggs are not stained. The body of a newly born duckling is covered with soft feathers or small feathers. The goose pulls soft feathers from its breast and always decorates the edge of the nest with soft feathers. At the same time, they release flight feathers from their wings; As a result, the ducks cannot fly for a month or until the next breeding season. Ducks are divided into two groups: floating ducks and diving ducks. Moreover, there is Chakha or Chakrabak.

Floating ducks feed on water. Usually does not like to dive, but may dive when young or unable to fly. Almost all ducks have feather feathers on their fins that look like bright white feathers. The body color of female ducks is usually brown, but the color of male ducks becomes more varied and attractive, especially during the breeding season. Male ducks also have a decline in body color when they look like a goose. The hind toes of ducks are small and short and not segmented.
Floating ducks not only scoop food from the surface of the water but also collect food from the bottom by dipping their head, neck, and upper chest into the water at an angle of about 90 degrees. In this way, they can collect seeds and tubers of aquatic plants worms, and snails from the bottom mud of shallow areas of lakes, bays, ponds, and estuaries. All but one of the dozen or so ducks belonging to this genus in Bangladesh are migratory. Common among them are mallard, mallard, geranium, blue-winged teal, gadwall, and wigeon. The male Mallard or Nileshir Wild Duck is the original domestic duck of this country.

Spotted-lipped duck or Patihans is a resident of Bangladesh. The tip of the beak of this domestic duck is yellow. There are two red spots at the base of the upper jaw. Other permanent residents are cotton teal/swan, lesser whistling teal/small sarali, large whistling teal/large sarali. As all three birds make their nests in tree trunks, they are also called Gechohans. Sand geese are found in all regions of Bangladesh. Two other large ducks are native to Bangladesh. They are Kambadak/Nukta or Bucha Duck and White-winged Wood Duck or Badihans. Bucha ducks are sometimes seen in the grasslands of Padma and Yamuna. A few pairs of wild geese are still known to exist in the Kasalong Valley Reserve Forest of Rangamati Hill District. They swim underwater to catch fish and build nests in trees such as civets, uri mango, and Chinese caraway. Badihans are listed as an endangered species in Bangladesh.
The hind toe of the diving duck is broad and segmented. Ducks use this toe to swim smoothly and quickly. They gather food by diving and swimming underwater. All pochards swim in the water. Commonly seen among them are: Tufted Pochard or Tufted Duck/Bamunia Duck, White Eyed Pochard or Ferruginous Duck/Rangamuri or Ghost Duck, and Common Pochard/Common Ghost Duck. Others in the group are the Bear's Pochard and Scoop-Duck or Shop Duck. There are only a handful of recorded sightings of large ghost ducks in Bangladesh. The remaining species of ducks are scattered in large numbers from the riverine plains in the south to the vast areas of the south-east. Red combed pochard or rangamuri floats and divers at the same time. This duck is very conspicuous with its bill and bill.

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
I wonder what the ducks in your country look like.
The first photo you showed is a swan, no duck.
Those of the ducks with the green head are males. These are the ones we have here, the female is brown, so floating ducks like you call them.
It's not great to be a female duck many die when the males jump on her to fertilize her. If many do so at the same time the female drowns. :(
Good luck with the contest.
🍀❤️
You are right. Actually, I didn't have any real photos, so I took them from source. But I didn't get pictures of the ducks of my country there either, so I used Sorch's pictures. Hope you understand my point.
Of course I understand it'simpossible to have own photos of everything we write about. I just wondered about the swan and what ducks with you look like.
Are they big, been eaten?
🍀❤️
Not all ducks are big, some are small and some are medium. But not all my ducks have been eaten, my usual ducks that are at home have been eaten. In our area, duck meat is eaten with cheat bread during winter.
Thanks for explaining. The ducks eaten here are a special type, I think from abroad. They are expensive and mostly only available in (Chinese) restaurants.
🍀❤️
Thank you for taking part in this week's contest with the topic "duck."
I enjoy that you call them diving or floating ducks. I have never thought of classifying ducks according to this. (•ิ‿•ิ)
Good luck with the contest.
