myBurgerLab: The First Time

Hi fellow Steemian,

Today is the first day I felt worst in 2018. I'm having my End Of Semester exam in Medical School and I didn't perform well in my Pediatric theory paper. I'm always fond of Pediatric and someday, I can see myself being a pediatrician or a pediatric surgeon depending on which discipline I'm leaning into; either the medical side or surgical side. I'm having the worst feeling after the examination has ended, so I've decided to gather few friends and go for a stroll around Kuala Lumpur while having something nice for dinner. We chose to dine in the myBurgerLab located in Petaling Jaya.

Pretty straight forward, the shop was speculated to serve the best burger in town and there are a number of choices to choose from the menu. So after contemplating much, I've decided to go for a burger called "Beautiful Mess". I forgot to snap the picture, but it looks like the picture I'm attaching below.

The appearance was pretty much the same, a set of burger (the cost stated in the menu does not include fries and bottomless soda) which is made from a set of black bun and specific homemade patty in between with some mushroom and salad. The environment was quite nice but to me the taste was subpar compare to other burgers such as Killer Gourmet Burger (KGB), Pampas Burger (Setiawangsa) and BurgerByte (used to open in Cheras, but already closed). It's not bad, but I'm expecting more from this burger. The black bun is quite soft but it's a bit fragile and kinda leaves lots of crumbs after eating them (Not sure if I'm holding the burger to tight or anything). The fries was okay but a little bit salty and kinda killed my appetite.

The size of the burger relative to the individual, eating them. That's my friend, by the way.

Nevertheless, it is still a great burger. For me, when I went out to eat with my friends, I enjoyed the social components more than the eating experience. The environment is great so as our dining experience. The system for burger collection after order was quite systematic. We're required to order and pay at the counter before receiving a buzzer which will vibrate if your order is ready to be collected (That's right, you have to collect it by yourself at the kitchen's counter).

Nothing much to say. If you asked for my honest opinion about the taste, I would say, I have tasted better. I heard there is a burger shop in SS15 that accept STEEM as payment called the Big Hug Burger. Maybe I'll go there next time. Finally somewhere I can spend my hard earned STEEM.
