Mona Lisa and the Hordes of tourists with selfie sticks
The greatest art museum in the world should be on your itinerary on your first visit. You need a whole day at the Louvre to soak in all the tens of thousands of art works and artifacts. You have Raphael, Michelangelo and the rest of the Ninja Turtles alongside historical discoveries.
The Mona Lisa is considered the most famous painting in the world that about 9 million people view the painting at the Louvre each year.
When we got to the room it was crowded. Hundreds of people milled around snapping photos, snapping selfies, taking videos, and rapidly changing positions for others to do the same.
Point being, tourists are ruining the experience of the Mona Lisa and the Louvre is helpless to stop it. The crowds are not respecting the painting, the Louvre and others’ appreciation.
They were not able to appreciate nor experience the magnificence that was right in front of them!

I wasn't a fan of art until i watched "Nova -- Mystery of a masterpiece" on youtube. The works of arts are indeed priceless
These are the things I would call art. Not like those modern art bs that are sometimes valued millions haha
Heh, I always imagined visiting the Mona Lisa to be romantic in a dark lonely room. You just burst my bubble. lol.
Well if you're beyonce and jayz or as rich as them you can always go for a private tour :)
