Payout Broken?

I have had several posts generate some cash, however when I go and check the author rewards under the wallet I never seem to actually receive steem...I do know that it is a complicated system and many people are rewarded, but I feel like the payment system is broken. I have been participating in STEEM for a couple weeks now and stuff doesn't seem to get paid out to my wallet.

Curator Rewards? Where are they?

The last couple of days I have had the priviledge to upvote some great content. On top of that a few I was the 2nd or third person to upvote...yes, these items made it to the first page!!! Top trending, however alas!!!! When I look at my curator rewards....I see nothing! NADA ZIPPO....I am starting to believe the payment structure is broken :?

Any Thoughts?!?
